Cooking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness. If using a pizza stone, transfer the dough onto a pizza peel dusted with flour.
Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the ricotta layer. Add any additional toppings you desire.
Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone or place it on a baking sheet if not using a stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
For the best results, consider experimenting with different toppings to suit your taste.
Roasting vegetables beforehand can enhance their flavor, and using a mix of fresh herbs can elevate the dish further. Additionally, a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top just before serving adds a lovely tang that complements the creaminess of the ricotta.
