Taco Bell Steak Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 2 flour tortillas
  • - 1 cup cooked steak sliced thinly
  • - 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend
  • - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • - Optional: salsa sour cream, or guacamole for serving

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the sliced cooked steak and sprinkle the taco seasoning over it. Stir to combine and heat through, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Place one flour tortilla in the skillet, ensuring it's evenly coated with some oil. Spread half of the shredded cheese over one half of the tortilla.
  • Layer the seasoned steak on top of the cheese, followed by the remaining cheese. Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  • Once both sides are golden and crispy, remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Cut it into wedges and serve with your choice of salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
  • For extra tips, be sure to use freshly cooked steak for the best flavor and texture. You can also experiment with different types of cheese or add additional ingredients like bell peppers, onions, or jalapeƱos for extra flavor.
  • If you want a crispier quesadilla, try cooking it in a panini press or using a non-stick skillet with a lid to melt the cheese evenly. Enjoy your delicious homemade Taco Bell steak quesadillas!
