Ground Turkey Recipes

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • - 1 pound ground turkey
  • - 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • - 1 small onion diced
  • - 2 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • - 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 8 taco shells
  • - Toppings: shredded lettuce diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes. Make sure there's no pink remaining in the meat.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked turkey and pour in the chicken broth. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • While the turkey mixture simmers, warm the taco shells according to package instructions. Once heated, fill each taco shell with the turkey mixture.
  • Top your tacos with your favorite toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. Serve immediately and enjoy!
