  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract together until creamy and well combined, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
