Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture until smooth.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it's well coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave some space between each piece for even cooking.
  • Bake the cauliflower wings in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until they're golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through to guarantee even browning.
  • While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a separate bowl. After the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and toss the wings in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  • Return the coated cauliflower wings back to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the sauce to set and provide an extra layer of crispiness.
  • For best results, make certain to keep an eye on the cauliflower wings while they bake to prevent burning. You can also experiment with different sauces or seasonings to customize the flavor to your liking.
  • Pair these crispy buffalo cauliflower wings with fresh veggies and your favorite dipping sauce for a complete and satisfying snack that everyone will enjoy!
