Cooking Instructions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it becomes golden brown, taking care not to burn it.
Once the garlic is golden, add the red chili flakes and stir for about 30 seconds to release their flavor.
Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta in the garlic oil mixture. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve your desired consistency.
Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice just before serving. Also, feel free to adjust the amount of chili flakes based on your spice preference.
