Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Slices of cheese optional
  • Lettuce tomato, and onion for toppings
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving

Instructions

  • Cooking Instructions:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making sure to press down slightly in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
  • Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty a minute before they're done cooking to allow it to melt.
  • While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in another pan until golden brown.
  • Assemble your burgers by placing a cooked patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, onion, and any other desired toppings. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun before placing it on top.
